An Audi test pilot is probably sitting in his boss’ office with his head slumped forward this morning, because of an accident that occurred at the Nurburgring yesterday.
This test pilot was driving the all-new SQ7, which is scheduled to make its debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show later in the year, when things got a bit hairy at the infamous carousel corner.
The SQ7 will be equipped with a V8 turbocharged diesel motor with electric turbocharging, which means no lag whatsoever. It’s claimed that it can run to 100km/h in 5,5 seconds and there’s even a rumour that it might top out at above 300km/h.
